Sebastian Shaw's Memoirs

He was this beautiful young man.
Richard Marquand, Director, ‘Return of the Jedi.’

Frank and full of surprises, this splendid collection of Sebastian Shaw memorabilia combines his own entertaining memoirs with many unpublished photos. Together with the Foreword by Sir Ben Kingsley, it is complemented by recollections from family, friends and colleagues.  From Shaw's Edwardian childhood through to his heyday as a matinée idol and on to his role as the first face of Anakin Skywalker, the book is a delightful mix of humour and insight. Compiled and introduced by his cousin, poet Isobel Montgomery Campbell, the book makes a fitting tribute to a much loved actor.

I'm writing to say how much I enjoyed it.  Initially it was a choice between Gore Vidal and [this], and it was much more enjoyable so that was the one I read. ...  JTB London

It is a lovely artifact as well as a great tribute to the man we love.  RG, Spain

It is a fantastic feeling to hold the book in my hands...  SK Germany
